Forecasts for Panama City, Panama, on September 23 point to a daytime high near 31–32°C amid typical rainy-season conditions, with high humidity near 80% and widespread thunderstorm chances exceeding 80% in many models. These factors promote afternoon convection that often limits peak temperatures by increasing cloud cover and evaporative cooling, aligning with the September climatological average high of about 31°C. Recent model runs from sources including the Met Office and local analyses show minimal day-to-day shifts, reinforcing trader consensus around the 32°C outcome at 53.5% implied probability, followed by 31°C at 24.5%. A stronger ridge or clearer skies could push readings to 33°C, though current steering patterns and moisture make that less likely.
