Brian Kemp. Rick Jackson captured the Republican nomination in a June runoff victory over Lt. Gov. Burt Jones, bolstered by significant personal spending and endorsements including the Georgia Chamber of Commerce. Recent polling shows the race as a statistical toss-up, with campaigns emphasizing affordability through tax relief and cost-of-living measures.
