This positioning stems from a robust upper-level ridge over the Rockies inducing subsidence, clear skies, and light winds, with morning readings already climbing past 60°F under mostly sunny conditions; major models like GFS and ECMWF show tight agreement on upper-80s to low-90s peaks. Realistic challenges include unexpected afternoon thunderstorms or marine layer influx capping heating, though current guidance pegs precipitation odds below 20%, with intraday observations determining final resolution.
