Shohei Ohtani's commanding 40.5% implied probability atop the 2026 NL MVP market stems from his unparalleled two-way dominance and the Dodgers' perennial contender status, amplified by his confirmed 2025 pitching return after elbow surgery and 2024 NLCS heroics. Juan Soto's surge to 14% reflects his record-shattering $765 million Mets pact, positioning him as an elite bat in a rising NL powerhouse amid New York's aggressive rebuild. Mookie Betts (10.6%) and Ronald Acuña Jr. (10.5%) hold firm on Dodgers synergy and Acuña's ACL recovery trajectory, while Fernando Tatis Jr. (7.5%) benefits from Padres' star power. Elly De La Cruz's (6%) breakout speed-power combo and Bryce Harper's (5.9%) proven clutch play round out the pack, with trader bets hinging on health, team wins, and WAR totals in a wide-open race.
