The Paraná Senate race for the second seat remains highly fragmented and uncertain, with recent July-August 2026 polls showing multiple candidates clustered within a few points of each other after any frontrunner. Álvaro Dias's early August withdrawal opened the contest further among names such as Deltan Dallagnol, Gleisi Hoffmann, Alexandre Curi, Filipe Barros, and Cristina Graeml. Ongoing eligibility questions around Dallagnol, party coalition realignments, and regional voter priorities ahead of the October vote continue to prevent consolidation. Current market pricing reflects this competitive dynamic in a field where late shifts in turnout or alliances could readily reorder the finish.
