Recent Spotify daily and weekly tallies show a tight race for the global #2 spot heading into the September 4 chart close, with Malcolm Todd’s “Earrings,” Tame Impala’s “Loser,” Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj’s “Beauty and a Beat,” Shakira and Burna Boy’s “Dai Dai,” and KAROL G’s “BbY WOW” posting comparable stream volumes in the 3–3.7 million daily range. Trader sentiment reflects this parity, as no single track has established decisive momentum or regional dominance across major markets. Key swing factors include late-week streaming surges from new or resurgent releases, platform playlist rotations, and any final promotional pushes before the weekly aggregation locks. Historical patterns indicate that small daily variances can shift positions sharply in the final 48 hours.
