The 2026-27 Scottish Premiership runner-up market remains tightly bunched because no single side has established clear second-favorite status behind Celtic. Rangers' summer reinforcements and pre-season optimism have been offset by a sluggish start that leaves them level on points with several clubs, while Hearts, Aberdeen, Hibernian and Motherwell have all added depth through the transfer window and posted competitive early results. League-wide parity is evident in the opening fixtures, with multiple sides capable of securing the required points haul in a 12-team division that rewards consistency over any extended period. This broad distribution of realistic challengers keeps implied probabilities clustered and reflects the absence of a dominant alternative to the champions.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Scottish Premiership for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Scottish Premiership (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Scottish Premiership; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
