Vitaliy Sachko, ranked No. 180 with a career-high of 156, advances as the clear favorite into the BMW Open qualifying final on Munich's outdoor clay after a straight-sets 7-5, 6-4 win over experienced Damir Dzumhur yesterday, showcasing solid baseline play and serve effectiveness. Max Hans Rehberg, the 22-year-old German at No. 729 (career-high 230), rides home-crowd energy at MTTC Iphitos but enters with less ATP-level experience on clay, where Sachko holds a stronger surface record from prior Challenger results. No head-to-head exists in their first meeting; traders weigh Sachko's ranking edge and momentum against Rehberg's youth, local support, and potential for upsets in qualifiers, with no reported injuries or withdrawals.
