Leigh Gray holds a dominant position in the Brighton mayoral race, with traders assigning an implied probability of 79 percent to the incumbent's victory. This consensus aligns with Gray's established role in local governance and prior electoral success in the municipality. Phil Owen trails significantly at 5.5 percent, reflecting limited trader support amid a crowded field of other candidates each priced around 50 percent. The structure of the market, with numerous generic options at even odds, suggests uncertainty over additional entrants or late developments. No major recent announcements or shifts in candidacy have altered the core positioning ahead of the vote.
