White women remain a closely divided voting bloc in the 2026 midterms, with recent generic congressional ballot surveys showing narrow Democratic edges among women overall that narrow further when isolating white respondents. Subgroup splits persist along education and religiosity lines, as college-educated and less religious white women tilt toward Democrats while white Christian and working-class women continue favoring Republicans at higher rates. Trader consensus near even odds reflects these persistent divides, historical patterns in midterm turnout, and limited recent movement in polling aggregates despite broader gender-gap trends. Scheduled fall campaign events, economic indicators, and voter mobilization efforts through November could widen or close the gap before ballots are cast.
