Carlos Alcaraz, the world No. 1 and defending Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters champion, cruised to the semifinals with a dominant quarterfinal win over Alexander Bublik, dropping just three games on clay while securing his 300th career victory. Monegasque wild card Valentin Vacherot etched history as the first local to reach this stage, grinding past Hubert Hurkacz and No. 5 Alex de Minaur in three-set thrillers fueled by home crowd energy at Monte Carlo Country Club. With no head-to-head history, Alcaraz's elite clay-court baseline game and surface mastery drive trader consensus heavily in his favor, though Vacherot's upset momentum, top-20-bound ranking surge, and resilience test the Spaniard's focus ahead of a potential final vs. Jannik Sinner or Alexander Zverev.
