Rodrigo Alujas enters as the clear trader favorite against Aryan Shah Shah in the Morelos Challenger first round, with market odds implying around 75% win probability for the Peruvian, driven by his superior ATP ranking (No. 452 vs. Shah Shah's No. 1,200+) and stronger hard-court record (65% win rate over last year). Alujas advanced through qualifiers with straight-set wins, showing sharp form, while Shah Shah struggled in his qualies, dropping sets amid serve inconsistencies. No reported injuries for either, but Alujas holds the head-to-head edge in experience against lower-ranked foes. Traders watch weather in Cuernavaca for any slipperiness on outdoor hard courts, though rest advantage favors the higher seed in this best-of-three matchup.
