Current National Weather Service and model guidance for Seattle on September 22 project a high in the low-to-mid 60s under mostly cloudy skies, near the 68.6°F climatological average, with light winds and low precipitation risk. Recent days have shown a modest cooling trend from highs near 70°F, consistent with seasonal transition and marine influence. The closely matched market odds for 78°F or higher versus 59°F or below reflect model divergence on cloud cover, onshore flow strength, and any late-day clearing that could allow modest warming above 70°F or keep readings suppressed near 60°F. Updated NWS and ensemble runs in the next 24–48 hours will likely resolve the primary uncertainty around boundary-layer mixing and regional pressure gradients.
