Current National Weather Service forecasts and supporting model guidance point to a San Francisco high near 67°F on September 22, driven by a persistent marine layer and moderate onshore southwest flow that limits daytime warming. Ensemble consensus keeps most outcomes clustered in the mid-to-upper 60s, with implied probabilities favoring 66–69°F ranges amid typical late-September climatology of 70.6°F averages. Key variables differentiating bins include the timing and depth of morning low clouds, exact wind speeds modulating boundary-layer mixing, and any late-day clearing that could add a degree or two. Fresh model runs and NWS updates through the next 48 hours remain the primary near-term catalysts for shifts in trader positioning.
