**Current forecast models indicate overnight lows in the upper 50s to low 60s°F for New York City on September 15, driven by clear skies under high pressure and northerly winds advecting cooler continental air after a mild preceding period.** Multiple short-range guidance sources project a daily minimum near 57–60°F, with minimal cloud cover and light winds limiting radiative cooling moderation. This aligns with the market’s heaviest trading on the 58–61°F bins, reflecting trader assessment of ensemble consistency rather than outlier warmer or cooler scenarios. Historical September climatology shows average lows near 62°F, so the expected dip stems from the current synoptic pattern. Resolution depends on the official minimum at the designated station, with final model runs and observations over the next 48 hours likely to refine probabilities.
