Recent National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble model consensus indicate a high near 93–95°F for Houston on September 13, supporting the market's leading 94–95°F bin at 45.5% implied probability. Persistent southerly flow, elevated dew points near 75°F, and heat indices exceeding 105°F reflect typical late-summer Gulf moisture and weak steering patterns that limit rapid cooling. Afternoon thunderstorm chances of 30–40% may briefly suppress peaks, yet limited cloud cover and above-average September baselines favor readings in the mid-90s over the 92–93°F range. Updated model runs through early September 12 show minimal spread, with resolution hinging on the timing of any convective development.
