Recent National Weather Service and local model guidance place Denver’s September 14 high in the 86–88 °F range, with isolated afternoon thunderstorms likely to limit peak readings and introduce timing uncertainty that splits trader probabilities between the 86–87 °F and 88–89 °F bins. Partly to mostly cloudy skies, southeasterly flow, and modest moisture will moderate insolation compared with the hotter, sunnier conditions observed on September 13. Model consensus remains tight on the overall warm pattern but diverges on exact cloud cover and storm initiation, keeping the 84–85 °F and 90–91 °F outcomes in play. Updated NWS briefings and next model runs this weekend will provide the clearest signals for resolution.
