Current forecasts from National Weather Service and private models indicate a high near 99–100°F for Dallas on September 14 under clear skies, southerly flow, and continued high pressure, placing the 100–101°F and 98–99°F bins in close contention. Persistent warm advection from the Gulf, minimal cloud cover, and afternoon mixing support peak readings in this narrow range, while light-to-moderate winds may limit extreme surface heating. Historical September averages near 90°F and a 102°F record underscore the elevated baseline, yet model consensus shows little day-to-day change through midweek. Traders are monitoring the next NWS update and any shifts in boundary-layer moisture or wind timing that could nudge the daily maximum across the 100°F threshold.
