**Clear, calm conditions overnight on September 8 under a stable high-pressure regime produced a minimum temperature in the 56–57°F range at official Seattle-area stations, aligning closely with the 1991–2020 climatological average low of 54.4°F.** Light northerly winds and minimal cloud cover allowed efficient radiational cooling without the influence of marine layers or frontal systems that often moderate temperatures in the region. NWS observations and model consensus confirmed no significant deviations from seasonal norms, driving strong trader consensus around this narrow band. A shift in station-specific readings due to microclimate effects or revised preliminary data could still alter the exact bin, though such adjustments remain unlikely given consistent reporting across multiple sites.
