Recent candidate registrations ahead of the October 2026 vote have produced a crowded field for the Federal District's two Senate seats, with Michelle Bolsonaro (PL), Leila do Vôlei (PDT), Bia Kicis (PL), and Erika Kokay (PT) emerging as the clearest frontrunners in available surveys. Party conventions and last-minute alignments within the PL and PDT have kept these names clustered at the top, while a long tail of additional contenders fragments the remainder of the vote. The absence of decisive polling leads or major campaign turning points since registrations closed has sustained tight implied probabilities across leading options, reflecting traders' assessment that small shifts in turnout or late endorsements could reorder the finish.
