Latest numerical weather prediction runs from models including GFS and regional ensembles indicate a daytime maximum of 27–29 °C in Munich on September 7 under partly cloudy conditions with only scattered shower chances below 20 %. This range sits well above the 1991–2020 climatological average high of 21 °C and reflects warm-air advection ahead of a weak front, with light southerly flow and limited cloud cover allowing strong insolation. Ensemble spread remains modest, supporting trader concentration on the 27 °C and 28 °C contracts at 37 % and 25 % implied probability. Updated high-resolution guidance and any late adjustments to boundary-layer mixing will be the key data releases likely to shift these market-implied odds before resolution.
