Recent National Weather Service and private model runs indicate Seattle's August 30 high will likely fall in the upper 60s to low 70s under mostly cloudy skies, light southerly flow, and a lingering marine layer that limits daytime heating. This aligns with the market's tight clustering on the 68–71 °F bins, as ensemble guidance shows only modest afternoon warming before onshore breezes strengthen. The outcome sits several degrees below the 1991–2020 climatological average of 74.7 °F, reflecting cooler-than-normal Pacific air and increased cloud cover rather than any acute weather system. With resolution less than 24 hours away, traders are weighting the latest hourly temperature trends and model consensus heavily while acknowledging small uncertainties in exact peak timing and marine-layer depth.
