Recent forecasts from Chinese meteorological services and international models project a high of 29–30°C for Shanghai on September 7 under partly cloudy skies with northerly winds and moderate humidity levels around 60–70%. This aligns with the market-implied probabilities favoring 30°C (49.5%) and 29°C (33.0%), reflecting typical early-September conditions slightly above the long-term average high of roughly 28°C. No significant warm or cool air intrusions or precipitation events are expected to shift temperatures substantially in the final 48 hours. Traders are monitoring the next China Meteorological Administration updates and ensemble model runs for any revisions to maximum temperature guidance, as small changes in steering patterns or cloud cover could determine whether the peak reaches 31°C or stays at or below 29°C.
