Scottie Scheffler holds a narrow edge in trader consensus at 27.5% implied probability for the 2026 TOUR Championship at East Lake, driven by his season-long dominance in FedExCup points, scoring average, and strokes-gained metrics, plus two playoff wins. Rory McIlroy sits just behind at 26%, reflecting renewed momentum from strong recent rounds at the BMW Championship and his status as a multiple major winner capable of contending on any layout. A broad cluster of players from Ludvig Åberg through Cameron Young, Matt Fitzpatrick, Wyndham Clark, Si Woo Kim, and others at 25.5% underscores the parity among the 30 qualifiers. The staggered-start format, East Lake’s emphasis on ball-striking and iron play, and the single-weekend reset compress advantages, allowing recent form, rest, and course history to outweigh regular-season leads. Late surges at the BMW Championship further tightened sentiment by confirming the field’s depth and highlighting how quickly positions can shift heading into the finale.
