Mattia Bellucci's higher ATP ranking around No. 182 compared to Murphy Cassone's sub-500 status anchors the 72% trader consensus favoring the Italian in this Miami Open qualification matchup on hard courts. Bellucci enters with stronger recent form, including a third-round run at the Phoenix Challenger last week where he notched wins over higher-ranked foes, showcasing improved serve hold percentages above 85%. Cassone, a standout college product from Arizona, has limited pro-level experience with mostly ITF-level results, posting a 2-3 hard-court record in 2024 qualifiers. No injuries reported for either, but Bellucci's head-to-head edge in experience against similar lower-ranked Americans tilts probabilities amid qualie volatility.
