Incumbent George Harvie seeks re-election on October 17, 2026, under the Achieving for Delta slate amid a fragmented field that includes Dylan Kruger running for One Delta and Melissa Granum for Delta First BC. Recent council infighting led to Harvie's removal of several members from his organization, prompting them to form rival slates and launch independent mayoral bids. This split, combined with competing platforms on regional governance reforms and local priorities, has produced closely matched trader pricing across leading contenders. The October vote remains open to shifts from candidate events, voter turnout patterns in North and South Delta, and any late endorsements or policy announcements that clarify the competitive landscape.
