Current forecasts from multiple models indicate a daytime high for Buenos Aires on September 18 near 19–22°C under partly to mostly cloudy skies with light northeast winds and stable high pressure. This range aligns with the market’s concentration of probability on 22–24°C outcomes, reflecting trader assessment of modest daytime heating amid variable cloud cover that could suppress or enhance temperatures by 1–2°C. Key variables include the extent of afternoon clearing, which influences solar insolation and boundary-layer mixing; subtle shifts in steering flow that might introduce warmer air advection; and local effects such as urban heat or sea-breeze modulation at the official recording station. With resolution dependent on the precise maximum at a single site, even small forecast adjustments before the 24-hour window closes can shift implied probabilities across the tightly clustered central outcomes.
