Current forecasts from multiple models and agencies converge on a high temperature of 98–100°F for Dallas on September 16, driven by persistent southerly winds, clear to mostly clear skies, and strong high pressure maintaining above-average late-summer heat. This setup exceeds the 1991–2020 climatological average high of 89.5°F and aligns with trader emphasis on the 98–99°F bin. Heat indices may reach 105–108°F, though market resolution hinges on official dry-bulb maximum readings. Minimal model spread and stable synoptic conditions through the short-term period support the current implied probabilities ahead of final observations.
