**Persistent polar air advection and extensive cloud cover are capping daytime heating in São Paulo on September 16, 2026, keeping the highest temperature tightly clustered near 19–20 °C.** Official forecasts from the Met Office, Yr, and CGE indicate a maximum of 18–19 °C under overcast skies with light southeast winds and possible drizzle, well below the month’s climatological average of ~26–28 °C. Recent model runs show minimal diurnal recovery as the cold air mass maintains high humidity and reduced insolation. This scientific setup aligns with the market’s tight distribution—20 °C (34 %), 19 °C (27 %), 21 °C (18.5 %)—reflecting trader assessment of forecast consensus and limited upside potential before any warming trend begins later in the week.
