Recent National Weather Service and private model guidance for Seattle on September 17 points to mostly sunny skies under high pressure with light northwest winds, supporting daytime highs of 73–76 °F and positioning the 74–77 °F range as the clear market favorite. This aligns with climatological norms for mid-September while reflecting slightly above-average warmth from clear conditions and minimal cloud cover or marine influence. The absence of incoming systems or significant moisture keeps precipitation risk near zero, reducing downside temperature risk, while model consensus shows limited spread around the mid-70s. Traders appear to weight the latest official forecast updates most heavily, with implied probabilities reflecting high confidence in resolution within the narrow 74–77 °F bands absent any last-minute model shifts.
