Forecast models from the National Weather Service and other sources indicate a high near 88°F for Miami on September 4, with a 70% chance of showers and thunderstorms driven by typical late-summer instability and southeasterly flow. Afternoon convection, increased cloud cover, and sea-breeze interactions are expected to limit peak heating relative to the long-term average of about 90°F, creating the tight market split between 88–89°F and 90–91°F outcomes. Minor variations in storm timing or intensity could push the daily maximum across that threshold, while drier conditions would favor the higher bin. Updated model runs and NWS briefings over the next 48 hours will refine these details ahead of resolution.
