Recent official forecasts from global and regional models, including GFS and ECMWF guidance, indicate Tel Aviv maximum temperatures on September 21 will peak near 30–31°C under stable high-pressure conditions, light northwest winds, and mostly clear skies with minimal cloud cover. This near-even split in market-implied odds reflects genuine model spread in peak heating, where small differences in afternoon wind strength or boundary-layer mixing could tip the daily high across the threshold. September climatology places average highs around 29°C, so current conditions sit slightly above baseline but lack strong anomalous drivers that would push probabilities decisively higher or lower. Final resolution hinges on the Israel Meteorological Service’s verified observation, with traders weighting the latest model consensus and any last-hour updates.
