**Current forecasts and real-time observations position 28°C as the leading outcome at 85% implied probability.** Shanghai's mid-September conditions feature a stable northeast flow under partly cloudy skies, with highs expected near 28–29°C (82–84°F) according to multiple meteorological models and station data. This aligns with seasonal norms for the humid subtropical climate, where post-summer cooling and moderate humidity typically cap daily maxima in this range absent strong high-pressure ridges or southerly advection. Recent hourly readings show peaks approaching but not exceeding 29–30°C amid light winds and low precipitation chances, supporting trader consensus on limited upside risk. Upcoming official daily summaries from monitoring agencies will resolve the market based on the precise maximum recorded at the designated station.
