Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model guidance point to a minimum temperature near 61°F in Atlanta on September 24, driven by northeast winds advecting cooler air behind recent showers. This setup favors moderate overnight radiative cooling under partly to mostly cloudy skies, with dew points in the upper 50s limiting further drops. Historical climatology shows an average low of 63°F for the date, though variable cloud cover and wind speeds introduce uncertainty around exact thresholds like 57°F or 60–63°F. Trader sentiment remains closely split on extremes versus mid-range outcomes because small shifts in forecast timing or clearing could push the minimum across key bins before resolution.
