A cold front and associated influx of cooler polar air have positioned Sao Paulo for notably suppressed temperatures on September 22, with official forecasts from sources including the Met Office and regional models indicating a high near 22–24 °C amid widespread cloud cover, showers, and light rain. This aligns with the market’s 87 % implied probability on 24 °C or below, reflecting model consensus on limited daytime heating under overcast skies and northerly-to-westerly flow. September climatology typically features highs near 23 °C, but recent frontal passages have kept readings several degrees below average, reducing the chance of brief warming. Traders are monitoring the final 24-hour model runs and official INMET observations, which will determine the daily maximum for market resolution.
