Forecast models from agencies including the UK Met Office and regional services indicate a daytime high near 30–31°C for Panama City on September 22, with partly cloudy skies, scattered showers, and typical rainy-season humidity supporting the market’s tight clustering around 31–32°C. Recent observations show afternoon temperatures reaching the upper 20s to low 30s amid southeasterly flow and moderate instability, aligning with September climatology of roughly 30°C averages. Minor upward bias in trader-implied odds for 32°C may reflect expectations of brief clearing or model runs favoring slightly warmer boundary-layer conditions, while thunderstorm timing introduces the main uncertainty for exact peak readings. Updated short-range guidance ahead of the 24-hour window will likely refine these probabilities.
