Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and supporting model guidance indicate the overnight low for Austin on September 18 will likely settle in the low-to-mid 70s under mostly clear skies and light southerly winds. High dewpoints near 70°F limit radiational cooling despite calm conditions and minimal cloud cover, keeping temperatures above typical early-fall norms. Recent model runs show tight consensus with only minor variations tied to exact timing of any residual moisture or wind shifts. This setup supports the clustered market-implied odds around 70–75°F while leaving room for small adjustments if evening mixing or humidity trends deviate slightly from current projections.
