Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and supporting models indicate the lowest temperature in Dallas on September 17 will likely fall in the low 80s, aligning with the market's leading 82-83°F outcome at 61.5% implied probability. Persistent southerly flow, high dew points near 70°F, and mostly clear skies are limiting nocturnal radiative cooling under a warm air mass, consistent with recent observations and climatological norms for mid-September. Model consensus shows little deviation, with overnight lows projected around 79-83°F and no significant frontal passage expected before resolution. Traders appear to weigh these stable conditions heavily against lower-probability cooler scenarios.
