Detroit Tigers hold a 2-0 series lead over the Miami Marlins heading into Saturday's rubber match at Comerica Park, fueled by Riley Greene's three-run homer and strong home form (3-1), despite a middling 5-9 overall record early in the season. Marlins (8-6 entering the series) seek to salvage the set with right-hander Janson Junk (0-1, 3.09 ERA) on the mound against Casey Mize (0-1, 5.23 ERA), whose recent struggles could level the pitching matchup. Key absences include Tigers outfielder Parker Meadows (concussion, fractured radius; out until June) and Marlins' Christopher Morel (oblique strain), but both bullpens remain deep. Traders weigh Tigers' momentum and home advantage against Marlins' road resilience and Junk's efficiency in a closely contested early-season interleague clash.
