If it remains unavailable through the end of the seventh day after the qualifying model first appears on the site or if no qualifying model is added by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No".Anthropic’s rapid iteration on its Opus series drives current trader focus on whether the next flagship will first showcase capabilities via Humanity’s Last Exam (HLE), a demanding 2,500-question benchmark spanning advanced math, sciences, and specialized domains. Recent releases—Opus 4.6 in February, 4.7 in April, 4.8 in May, and Opus 5 in July 2026—each posted leading or near-leading HLE scores (Opus 5 at 64.7% as of mid-August), outpacing OpenAI, Google, and others through gains in reasoning depth and tool use. This pattern reflects Anthropic’s emphasis on verifiable frontier benchmarks amid tightening competition and benchmark saturation. Key upcoming catalysts include any fall 2026 Opus update or new HLE leaderboard revisions that could shift implied probabilities around debut timing and performance thresholds.
