Trump's Memphis roundtable with the Black Conservative Federation highlights his targeted outreach to black voters amid polls showing his support rising to around 30% in that demographic, up from prior cycles. Recent developments, including his Chicago pastors meeting and critiques of Democratic identity politics, fuel trader bets on pointed contrasts with Kamala Harris, economic policies, urban crime, and education reform. Sentiment reflects Trump's pattern of unscripted, provocative remarks in minority-focused forums, as seen in past events like the NABJ convention. The August 21 event has passed, with traders now assessing his actual statements on Harris's background and policy failures against market options for resolution. Upcoming debate previews could further shift related odds.
