Current observations at Dallas Love Field and DFW International Airport already exceed 72°F mid-morning around 74°F, while GFS and ECMWF model ensembles indicate minimum highs in the low 80s amid stable upper-level ridging over Texas and NOAA's spring outlook for above-normal temperatures amid drought conditions that curb evaporative cooling. Realistic challenges include an unexpected cold air intrusion or persistent cloud cover limiting insolation, though synoptic patterns favor continued warming through peak afternoon hours.
