The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the Malpensa Intl Airport Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/it/milan/LIMC. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until all data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Trader consensus on Polymarket overwhelmingly favors a highest temperature of 17°C in Milan today, reflecting unified forecasts from Italian meteorological agencies like ARPA Lombardia and the Osservatorio Meteorologico Milano Duomo, which project a daily maximum of 16-17°C under persistent cloud cover and scattered thunderstorms. This positioning stems from a sharp weather shift over the past 48 hours: a depressionary circulation drawing cooler Atlantic air has displaced the prior warm spell of 25-26°C highs, suppressing insolation and capping temperatures via cold air advection and precipitation. Current midday observations align with model runs from ECMWF and regional ensembles showing peaks around 17°C at Milano Linate. Realistic challenges include unexpected afternoon clearing for added solar heating to reach 18°C, though ongoing instability makes this improbable; official end-of-day readings from reference stations will resolve the market.
