Trader consensus in the Pokémon TCG secondary market leans slightly toward a near-term price dip for Mega Charizard X ex by August 31, driven by post-hype stabilization after strong early-2026 gains in the Phantasmal Flames era. Recent listings show raw copies hovering around $28–30 with PSA 10s holding in the low-to-mid $2,000s, reflecting cooling momentum as supply from Ultra Premium Collections and promo tins meets steady collector demand. Broader Charizard enthusiasm persists, yet August tracking indicates minor pullbacks amid fluctuating chart positions and no fresh major tournament spotlight. Key upcoming catalysts include end-of-month sales data and any surprise reprint announcements that could extend the downward tilt before potential autumn recovery.
