This market will resolve to the coach who wins the 2026 MLS Coach of the Year award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLS rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLS season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026 ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus prices Javier Mascherano highest at 39.1% implied probability for MLS Coach of the Year despite his shocking departure from Inter Miami on April 14 for personal reasons, after leading the defending MLS Cup champions to a 3-1-3 start amid high expectations with Lionel Messi. A tight cluster around 29% reflects the wide-open field boosted by offseason hires like Raphael Wicky (Sporting Kansas City), Henrik Rydström (Columbus Crew), Phil Neville (Portland Timbers in year three), and Gregg Berhalter (Chicago Fire, currently near Eastern Conference lead), all eyed for turnarounds in the coaching carousel. Recent firings of Óscar Pareja (Orlando City) and Marco Donadel (CF Montréal) heighten stakes for successors in Supporters' Shield and playoff pursuits.
