Official relegation is defined as a team losing its place in Morocco Botola Pro for the following season through their final standing in the 2026-27 Morocco Botola Pro, via relegation playoff defeat, or by any other official league decision recognized by Morocco Botola Pro. If the 2026-27 Morocco Botola Pro season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there are no teams confirmed for relegation within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official announcements from Morocco Botola Pro. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026-27 Botola Pro season opens with three newly promoted sides—MA Tétouan (returning after one year in the second tier), WS Témara, and US Amal Tiznit (both earning their first-ever top-flight spots)—replacing Olympic Dcheira, US Yacoub El Mansour, and OC Safi, who dropped following the 2025-26 campaign. These newcomers enter a 16-team league featuring established clubs such as defending champions MAS Fez, RS Berkane, Raja CA, AS FAR, and Wydad AC, where experience, squad depth, and CAF competition commitments often determine mid-table security. Early-season form, injury reports, and the intensity of the relegation play-offs for 13th- and 14th-place finishers will shape outcomes, with historical patterns showing promoted teams frequently occupying the lower table positions through the winter months. The league draw and fixture schedule, released in late August, set up a standard double round-robin format running into 2027.
