Trader attention centers on Greengrass’s track record with tense, grounded period pieces and Garfield’s draw, offset by a late-August marketing shift that rebranded the film with Robin Hood origins, prompting confusion and a public clarification from the UK distributor. Early trailer reception has been modest, and the project follows a string of underperforming Robin Hood-adjacent releases. With wide release imminent, initial Tomatometer momentum will hinge on early reviews from major outlets and guild-adjacent critics, though historical epics in this vein often land in the 60-75 range absent breakout word-of-mouth.
