Recent observations show a cool spell—April 14 peaked near 18°C under northerly influences—followed by a projected warm-up from southerly winds and high pressure, per BBC and other forecasts eyeing 28°C sunny conditions. Differentiating factors include potential cloud cover suppressing peaks to mid-20s versus clear skies and downslope warming pushing toward 30°C+, with historical April averages around 20–22°C but wide daily swings from cold air intrusions. Updated China Meteorological Administration guidance and ECMWF/GFS runs expected April 17 could sharpen the outlook before resolution.
