Recent forecast models from sources including GFS outputs and regional analyses indicate peak daytime temperatures in Manila on September 13 will likely reach 30–31°C amid the southwest monsoon, with widespread cloud cover, high humidity near 80%, and scattered thunderstorms limiting solar heating and capping extremes. Light variable winds and typical September climatology, featuring frequent precipitation that historically keeps highs near or below 30°C, support this range. Trader emphasis on 32°C reflects model spread and potential for brief clearing, while lower probabilities for 33°C+ align with suppressed maxima from ongoing convective activity. Updated PAGASA and NOAA guidance expected overnight could refine these market-implied odds.
