Latest forecasts from the China Meteorological Administration and global ensembles indicate a warming trend into September 25, with daytime highs likely reaching the low-to-mid 30s°C amid a weakening cold air influence and southerly flow. Trader consensus reflected in closely matched implied probabilities for 32–34°C stems primarily from model spread on cloud cover and precipitation timing, which can suppress maximum temperatures by 1–3°C under persistent rain or thick overcast. Recent runs show light-to-moderate rain possible that day, while clearer intervals could allow peaks near 34°C; historical September baselines in Wuhan average around 27°C, underscoring the role of this transient ridge in elevating outcomes. Updated model guidance expected within 24 hours could further refine these odds.
